Individual & EMDR Therapy Services
Whatever your reason for seeking out therapy, I’m dedicated to helping you find your way to better mental health using an integration of evidenced-based best practices.
EMDR is one way in which we can work together so you can have the peaceful and happy life you’ve always dreamed of. EMDR Therapy stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Known as "The Gold Standard" for trauma therapy, it is an evidence-based approach to help with trauma / PTSD, depression, anxiety, phobias, and other emotional disturbances. By using bilateral stimulation (something you can see, hear or touch moving in a side-to-side pattern, such as moving your eyes back and forth) disturbing thoughts and memories are reprocessed by your brain, leading you to feel more calm and at peace. EMDR Intensives
An EMDR Intensive Session is a unique approach to trauma therapy.
If you are tired of trying to work through your trauma in one-hour increments, opening old wounds and having to close them before they can be fully processed, or finding the worry of the week get in the way of working through your trauma and toward your goals, EMDR intensives can help.
Instead of trying to accomplish your goals in trauma work in just one hour per day, one week at a time, an EMDR intensive involves longer sessions per day (in 1.5-hour increments up to 6 hours) and can be multiple days in a row. This time allows you to move through treatment more quickly and effectively.
Please note that at this time EMDR intensives are not covered by insurance and are a self-pay only option (see FAQ and Good Faith Estimate for more information!)
